As pilots we need to cover all costs, not just the equipment. That includes accommodation, travel, training runs, team kit and everything in between. The average season cost for a 2 man team is £60,000
​

We are completely self funded and receive no financial support from the federation, which is why sponsors are such a huge part of our journey to the top!

Why do I need more support in the 2024/25 season?
​
I began the 2023/24 season with the very simple goal of learning how to pilot a sled. The races were only
designed as extra experience on top of the training runs planned. However after 2 weeks of pre-season training in
Latvia, it became apparent that this season was going to be very different. Fast forward 7 weeks, and I am now ranked 12th in the world (U26). I was able to achieve this result in a 2010 sled, against a field of
athleteswith far superior equipment.
Which begs the question... Where would I have been with competitive equipment?
